LONDON – Built with bigger, more complex and content-heavy shows in mind, d3 Technologies says its new server, the d3 4x4pro, can replace four standard media servers. Next to DXV, d3 now also supports HAP and the high-fidelity HAP-Q content. It can play 32 layers of HD (DXV/HAP) with canvas sizes up to 16K pixels across, or up to eight layers of lossless QuickTime animation, and with its twin 10Gbit/sec ethernet connections, it can transfer huge files in minutes rather than hours.

Harman’s Martin Professional today announced the release of MAC Viper firmware 2.0. The update contains fixes for all known issues and improvements on existing functionality including low noise cooling for the entire MAC Viper Family.

Offering a brightness level of 35,000 center lumens, the HDQ-4K35 is capable of showing native 4K content at 60 Hz frame rates. It features a unique integrated design with internal power supply, rental frame and no external chimney fan.

Laserworld developed a new product line, the Diode Series, to fill the gap between their entry-level and their more professional laser light systems. The very compact housing, built according to the Sealed Housing Technology, is equipped with a diode-only solution, which means great beam specifications at smooth color fading behavior. Elation Professional’s Pixel Bar 40 is a one-meter-long pixel-controllable LED strip light that uses 3-in-1 SMD RGB LEDs for color mixing. The fixture is bright (850 Nits) and 0-100% dimmable, and its 40 RGB LEDs are spaced at a 25mm pixel pitch. Each bar has a 120° viewing angle. The fixture is made with extruded aluminum and comes with RJ45 Cat5e ports for easy installation and an adjustable mounting bracket for precise optical aiming.
