Blackmagic Design’s ATEM Switcher Update 6.1 software includes new features for Camera Control such as copying of color settings across cameras, white balance display and synchronized fading of audio and video using Fade to Black. ATEM Switcher Update 6.1 is available now for download free of charge for all existing ATEM Switcher customers from the Blackmagic Design support page on the website.
ETC says its ColorSource PAR LED luminaire uses a proportionate blend of red, green, blue and lime LED emitters to produce a richer, more natural and consistent light output than other budget LED fixtures. Along with the color calibration that ETC does on all its LED luminaires, the company is touting its round-the-clock customer and technical support.
Analog Way’s AW Toolbox is a mobile app designed to control the LiveCore series of presentation mixers. The wireless app lets users fine-tune any multi-projector Soft Edge Blend, recall presets and master presets and configure the processor’s inputs and outputs, all via WiFi. The company has also released a series of free tools including AW Gateway, AW Screen Frame Cutter and AW EDID Editor.
Le Maitre’s new line of Colored Ice Gerbs includes a notable new color change effect. A deeply cultured flame enveloping the base of the gerb and a column of silver sparks shoot up to heights of 6-8ft, the company notes. The effect, which lasts for some 20 seconds, is available in aqua, blue, green, orange, purple, red, yellow and pink or as a color change version.
Lightware Visual Engineering has introduced the UMX-TPS range of extension systems designed to transmit multiple video formats at resolutions up to 4K and UHD. With these transmitters video, audio and control signals can be sent up to 170 meters at full HD over a single CAT5 cable. The UMX-TPS-TX120, UMX-TPS-TX130 and UMX-TPS-TX140 transmitters are ideal solutions for small meeting rooms, classrooms, control rooms and home cinema applications.
Chauvet Professional’s new Vesuvio RGBA combines color and fog to create unusual atmospheric effects. It is equipped with 28 red, green, blue and amber LEDs and a fog generator that produces 40,000 cubic feet per minute. The Vesuvio RGBA is also equipped with an electronic dimmer and a variable strobe.
ADJ’s new Inno Scan HP (pictured here, left) and Inno Roll HP (pictured below) are higher-power versions of its earlier LED mirror scanners, both featuring 80-watt LED sources. Its 8 colors and 6 rotating, interchangeable GOBOs can be combined to create create mesmeric colored pattern effects.
