Christie featured its HD10K-M at LDI 2014. It is designed for fixed or rental staging applications including live events, theme parks, and other applications, the Christie HD10K-M, part of the celebrated Christie M Series, has built-in image blending and warping capabilities, operates in full portrait mode, and offers a 3D upgrade path.
CTI featured an expanded line of their QolorFLEX brand LED tapes at LDI 2014, including the addition of 23 new tapes with outdoor versions, 24V versions, and new colors and color temperatures. CTI’s QolorFLEX LED tape has been used on high profile productions around the world in 2014 including motion pictures like The Amazing Spiderman 2, and TV shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Night Show Starring Seth Myers, Saturday Night Live, Gotham, and many other shows and studios.
Avolites’ Quartz compact Quartz console made its way from PLASA London in October to LDI in Las Vegas in November. Group One Limited featured the console during the Nov. 21-23 exhibition at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The fixture comes with two color wheels, two gobo wheels and rotating prism. Creative Conners says its Showstopper 3 Consolette promises to serve as a powerful and modular emergency stop & cue control system. It joins other products in the Showstopper family’s Pro Line, designed to meet the automation challenges of the most demanding productions.
Elation’s Platinum BX promises high-impact aerial looks with a “fat beam effect.” The fixture features a Philips MSD Platinum 17RA 350W lamp and new wide lens optics designed with a thicker beam look in mind. The fixture emits 15,000 lumens of concentrated light output along with a 3-degree beam, four times the output of previous dedicated beam models from Elation.
Chauvet Professional’s TRUSST line has expanded with the CT Clamp, designed for rigging lighting and audio gear inside tents. The clamp attaches to the slots on clear span tent Keder beams, so items can be suspended from it securely without requiring extra trussing.
FOR-A noted that it had changed the name for three products within its HANABI Series of video switchers. The company’s formally named HVS-XT100, HVS-XT110, and HVS-XT2000 switchers will now be called the HVS-100, HVS-110 and HVS-2000 (pictured here).
