Hog 4-18 and OS v3.11 from High End Systems

High End Systems’ flagship console Hog 4-18, along with new OS v3.11 software, is now available. The Hog 4-18 console upgrades the Hog 4 with 18.5-inch touch screens, and an updated industrial design with aluminum encoder knobs and integrated accessory mounts. Outputting 8,192 channels (expandable with DP8K processors), Hog 4-18 has eight XLR-5 DMX outputs, sACN and Art-Net, MIDI and dual etherCON connections for HogNet and FixtureNet. The desk features five high-resolution parameter encoders, built-in tri-axis backlit trackball and 10 master playbacks with motorized faders and master control keys. Up to three external display port monitors or touchscreen monitors can be used. The company has entered a new partnership with Capture visualization software.

Chauvet Professional’s Latest Ovation Par Fixtures to be Featured at USITT 2019

Chauvet Professional will be showcasing its enhanced lineup of Ovation LED ellipsoidal, Fresnel and batten fixtures at the USITT Conference and Stage Expo, set to take place in Louisville, KY from March 20-23, 2019. At booth 1125, visitors will see new par fixture models with RGBA-Lime, warm white, variable white and UV light sources. All four varieties feature 16-bit dimming, a single-source homogeneous light, RDM and Variable Pulse Width Modulation. The new pars also come with interchangeable lens plates for medium and wide beam angles, and they accept standard 7.5″ beam shaping accessories.

Whirlwind ColourBond Printing

Whirlwind says its ColourBond high-res printing process creates a breakthrough in custom personalization for road cases and rack panels. The company’s proprietary process can be used for graphics that adhere to everything from aluminum to plastic, with impressive durability. Users can color code, label, print their logos, or otherwise make their projects stand out. Currently, Whirlwind has been printing everything from wall and gang plates to rack panels and their Cyclone road cases. Along with the impressive visuals, Whirlwind’s ColourBond Printing can be used to raise type and print braille for the visually impaired.
