LOS ANGELES – This past holiday season marked the second year Lightswitch designed “Enchanted Forest of Light” at Descanso Gardens and the fifth year of “Illumination” at Morton Arboretum, creating visually stunning and memorable experiences using a bevy of fixtures including Elation’s IP65 -rated Proteus arc-source moving heads. The Elation fixtures were among more than 400 fixtures that 4Wall provided for the Descanso Gardens attraction, which was open from Nov. 19, 2017 to Jan. 7, 2018.

Lighting for the show – the first time The Little Mermaid has been staged in Belgium – was designed by Luc Peumans of Genk-based international design practice, Painting with Light, and lighting equipment was delivered by leading Benelux rental company, Phlippo Showlights together with audio and rigging.

At the BSC Expo in London, ARRI today unveils a complete large-format system that meets and exceeds modern production requirements, delivering unprecedented creative freedom. Based on a large-format 4K version of the ALEXA sensor, the system comprises the ALEXA LF camera, ARRI Signature Prime lenses, LPL lens mount, and PL-to-LPL adapter.
