Electric Daisy Carnival Main Stage Visuals Created with Tenfeet’s Green Hippo Media Servers

LAS VEGAS – Electric Daisy Carnival founder Insomniac Events got a visual assist from Netherlands-based Tenfeet for this year’s flagship EDC event in Las Vegas on May 18-20 as well as a touring version suited to other EDC-branded events around the world. Tenfeet made use of Green Hippo’s Hippotizer Montane+ media servers as the main playback machines for the visuals seen on the main stage between each of the headlining DJ performances.

LOS ANGELES – For the AT&T Audience Network Music Concerts series performances, which features a variety of music from both a live music venue and a studio stage, TV LD Victor Fable works with up to 18 different acts over a hectic six-day taping period in Los Angeles. Fable’s toolkit this year included Artiste Picasso and Dartz 360 fixtures from Elation Professional.

Tedeschi Trucks Band Hits the Road with “Wheels Of Soul” Tour

MORRISON, CO – The Tedeschi Trucks Band hit the road again in 2018 with their “Wheels Of Soul” tour. The summer trek launched in Jacksonville, FL in late June and wrapped up with two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO July 28-29. Lighting director Brian Pirrone used an all-LED rig supplied by BML Blackbird that included Martin, Claypaky and Chauvet fixtures.

Counting Crows 2018 Tour Rig Includes Chauvet Professional Strike 1 Fixtures

HOLMDEL, NJ – The Counting Crows are out on their current “25 Years and Counting” tour with opening act Live, a trek that is taking the Berkeley, CA-based band from the West Coast across the heartland, then from the East Coast and back to the Midwest from late June through late September. LD Mike Zielinski is using Chauvet Strike 1 fixtures for three key roles: accent lighting, backlighting and blinders. Upstaging is supplying the lighting for the tour.

Nick Whitehouse Lights Justin Timberlake’s “Man of the Woods” Tour

PHILADELPHIA – Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods world tour kicked off in mid-March, a month after his halftime show at Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis. After the first North American leg, the tour headed to Europe for the summer and returns to the U.S. and Canada this fall and winter. Nick Whitehouse’s lighting design includes Claypaky Scenius Unicos, grandMA2 consoles and MDG theONE hazers/foggers.
