Tony Caporale Lights Larkin Poe with Squeek Lights-Supplied Chauvet Fixtures

NEW YORK – Larkin Poe, an Atlanta-based sister act featuring Rebecca and Megan Lovell, is performing with an intentionally moody lighting design by Tony Caporale. For a recent Bowery Ballroom gig in NYC, Caporale turned to Squeek Lights for Epix Strip Tour fixtures from Chauvet Professional. They were arranged in five rows of six units each.

Gary Numan’s “Savage” Tour Pairs Lighting and Video with Avolites Synergy

LONDON – Avolite’s Synergy lighting and video integration software debuted with Gary Numan’s post-apocalyptic Savage tour in November. During his show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, the British synth-rocker’s end-of-days video content extended from LED screens into the 3D space as a multitude of GLP and Vari-Lite fixtures pixel-matched its color and effects.

Christ Place Church in Georgia Installs Unilumin UpadIII Panels

ATLANTA – Christ Place Church, formerly Blackshear Place Baptist Church, recently completed its 78,000-square-feet new construction. Over 1,071 square feet of Unilumin UpadIII screens were installed in the 2,000-seat worship center for the church, which has close to 8,000 congregants. Production/co, formally known as Cason Cleveland Productions, installed the panels.

LD Céline Royer Lights Mike Shinoda’s Post Traumatic Tour with 4Wall Gear

In support of his first solo album, Post Traumatic, Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda hit the road this fall. LD Céline Royer, who lit Linkin Park’s One More Light world tour, is working with a 4Wall-supplied lighting rig that includes Ayrton MagicBlades, GLP JDC1s and Chroma-Q Color Force II LED battens.
