Tarm Lasers Star in #reflection Laser Display

BOCHUM, Germany – The visual capabilities of laser projectors offered by Bochum, Germany-based tarm Showlaser GmbH are on full display in “#reflection,” an artistic laser show that makes use of static and computer-controlled motorized mirror surfaces and diffraction gratings. The display reveals the full-color RGBYC laser sources along with shapes and colors that dance in sync with the futuristic musical soundtrack.

European Cruiserweight Title Fight Adds Visual Punch with Chauvet Professional Fixtures

ROESELARE, Belgium – Belgian cruiserweight boxing champion Yves Ngabu recently defended his title against Danish hopeful Micki Nielsen. The fight, which took place Feb. 16 at the Eventhal Schiervelde in Roeselare, Ngabu’s hometown, was lit with 12 Chauvet Professional Rogue RH1 Hybrid, 32 Rogue R2 Wash and four Rogue R1 Spot fixtures. 4Wall to Purchase Assets of HSL; Blackburn HQ to be Renamed 4Wall U.K.

BLACKBURN, U.K. – 4Wall Entertainment has agreed to buy the assets of HSL Group Holdings Ltd. of Blackburn, U.K. The plan calls for most of HSL’s staff to remain on board. The facility and location are expected to be rebranded as 4Wall U.K. This would create the first international location for 4Wall, which now has 10 locations in the U.S.

Swedish Singers Competing for Eurovision Nod Lit by Robe Fixtures

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Since 1959, Sweden has selected its national representatives for the annual Eurovision song contest with an annual TV competition, known since 1967 as the Melodifestivalen. LD Fredrik Jonsson of Eyebrow Design has lit Melodifestivalen since 2002. This year he specified 38 Robe MegaPointes, eight BMFL Spots (part of a RoboSpot remote follow spot system) and 21 BMFL WashBeams.

Adventure Club “Death or Glory” Tour Visuals Include Chauvet Rogues and PVP S5 LED Panels

CHARLESTON, SC – Canadian EDM duo Adventure Club are on their “Death or Glory” tour, accompanied by a light and video show by Ryan Warffuel and Max Koehler of Antic Studios that includes Chauvet Professional Rogue fixtures and PVP S5 LED panels. Koehler and Warffuel coordinate the lighting and video for maximum impact for the tour, which began on March 8 at the Hollywood Palladium and runs through May.
