Rob Sinclair Lights Tame Impala with 300-Plus GLP Fixtures at Coachella

INDIO, CA – LD Rob Sinclair and his team created some wild visuals for Australian psychedelic band Tame Impala at Coachella this year by unleashing more than 300 GLP fixtures. Christie Lites supplied the 250 impression X4 Bars (in a mix of Bar 10s and longer Bar 20 battens) along with 60 JDC1 hybrid strobes. Touring LD Jon Derrington used two Hog 4 consoles with two Playback Wings for control.

Chon Tours with Squeek Lights-Supplied Elation Fixtures

ROTHBURY, MI – Prog rock instrumentalists Chon embarked on a coast-to-coast tour this summer in support of their third album, the self-titled Chon, released on June 7. Squeek Lights provided a rig that included Elation Dartz 360 LED moving heads and SixBar 1000 LED battens.

The Who Tours with Astera Titan Tubes

NEW YORK – The Who’s 2019 Movin’ On tour will be following up on an 11-show trek at U.S. venues in May with more than 20 shows in the U.S. and Canada in September and October. LD Tom Kenny specified 42 Astera Titan Tubes as an integral part of the rig supplied by PRG, VER and Showcat.

Robe moving lights were top lighting designer Crt Birsa’s spec for the recent 2CELLOS US which thrilled fans with a mega-mix of raucous rock, perfect pop, cool classical and melodic movie music as they worked their way across the country.

JDI Productions Supports New Found Glory Tour

CRANSTON. RI – New Found Glory (NFG) once again turned to lighting production company JDI Productions Inc. for an assist with their 34-show “From The Screen To Your Stereo To Your Town” trek across North America. JDI Productions LD Megan Alksninis’ rig includes six Mega-Lite Circa Scoop LEDs and six XS LED Strobe RGB fixtures.

Papa Roach Performs in U.K. and Europe with GLP Impression and JDC1 Strobes
