Blackpool Illuminations Festival Gets 4Wall Assist

BLACKPOOL, U.K. – The annual Blackpool Illuminations Festival, which kicked off Aug. 30 and runs to Nov. 3, 2019, is once again brightening the seaside resort of Blackpool with more than a million bulbs shining across a six-mile swath. The annual lights festival was founded in 1879. 4Wall Entertainment contributed to this year’s event by transforming the Theatre D’Amour into an experimental art installation called the “4Wall Theatre of Light.” It serves as a showcase for lighting and video technology.

Unilumin Collaborates with Barco to Expand its Global LED Display Business

SHENZHEN, China and KORTRIJK, Belgium – Unilumin recently announced a strategic collaboration with Barco. Mingfeng Lin, stakeholder and actual controller of Unilumin, signed an agreement on Sept. 9, 2019 with the intent to transfer 45.89 million unrestricted shares held in the company (a stake of 5 percent, excluding the shares repurchased by Unilumin as of Sept. 9, 2019) to Barco, at a price of $1.287 per share.

New Hampshire Venue’s “Amoeba” Feature Made from Cosmic Truss

CONCORD, NH – The Capitol Center for the Arts (CCA), an organization that owns and operates the 1,304-seat Chubb Theatre at CCA and the 296-to-424-capacity Bank of New Hampshire (BNH) Stage, turned to Port Lighting Systems for a BNH Stage upgrade that uses Cosmic Truss’ F34DNA truss to form a distinctive visual feature dubbed “The Amoeba.”
