Hikaru Utada Embarked on 25th Anniversary Tour with Ayrton Classics

Acclaimed singer-songwriter and J-Pop sensation, Hikaru Utada, embarked on a tour of Japan and Asia in support of their new album, ‘Science Fiction’. The tour featured an other-worldly and monolithic production design from JAW Studio’s Jason Ardizzone-West. Lighting Designer Jeremy Lechterman, of Fragment 9, featured some classic Ayrton fixtures – MagicPanel 602 and MagicBlade R – as major components of his design.

Lüz Studios Engages on ‘Highway Desperado’ Tour with CHAUVET Professional

Matthieu Larivee and the team at Lüz Studio designed Jason Aldean’s 24-city ‘Highway Desperado’ tour, which concluded October 5 at Georgia’s Macon Amphitheatre. Larivee and his team positioned 59 of their 67 CHAUVET Professional Color STRIKE M motorized strobes (all supplied by Bandit Lites) on the deck floor.

OSA Wraps Up Peter Frampton’s ‘Positively Thankful Tour’ with Ayrton

Lighting Designer Gregg Maltby used an array of Ayrton fixtures and grandMA3 light consoles for legendary artist Peter Frampton’s ‘The Positively Thankful Tour’, which led up to his induction ceremony at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October. OSA International in Nashville was the lighting vendor for the tour, a role they played for Frampton’s 2023 North American tour.

Richard C. Huggins, Founder of Theatre Magic and SFX Design, Inc. has sadly passed away. He was 78 years old. Jason Reberski, a mentee of Huggins wrote this In Memoriam for Huggins, who designed and created hundreds of custom effects on movies like ‘Gettysburg’, Broadway shows including ‘Miss Saigon’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, and ‘Brigadoon’, as well as live spectaculars such as ‘Siegfried & Roy at The Mirage’.
