PHILADELPHIA – Verge Aero, a specialist in drone light shows, provided its drone technology for a new music video featuring Australian dance music trio PNAU and American singer Ollie Gabriel. Verge Aero says this project marked the first use of a large-scale drone light show in a music video.

SAN DIEGO – John Featherstone of lighting and visual design practice Lightswitch worked as part of the XD Agency team to help create a high-impact environmental design for Cisco Live! 2019. The event drew 25,000+ to the San Diego Convention Center June 9-13. Featherstone used more than 400 Robe moving lights.

The masses once again turned out for the Music City’s Food + Wine Festival for a weekend of tasting gourmet food, sampling fine wine and enjoying good company.

The late September celebration, held during Germany’s Oktoberfest, included food, drink, awards and music over a five-day span, and more than 700 attended the company’s milestone party on Sept. 27.

BROOKLYN – The third annual Genius IQ-BBQ, held Sept. 7 at the digital media service’s headquarters in Brooklyn, NY, drew crowds with headliner 21 Savage and a host of other popular acts. Ben Danielowski of Boum Creative lit the stage with a rig that included Chauvet professional fixtures supplied by Squeek Lights.
