TMB and Main Light Team UP to Help One of our Own

The U-Park Festival in Kyiv, Ukraine July 2016 at the OlimpiyskiyNational Sports Complex (NSC) as tensions with Russia erupted. The festival featured many artists, including Muse, Hurts, Poets of the Fall, My Vitriol, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

As Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine continues, Zinteco Productions, a cornerstone in Ukraine’s entertainment production community for over 25 years, needs our help. The ongoing conflict has brought the Ukrainian entertainment industry, like all normal life, to a standstill, and Zinteco’s operations have been severely impacted. TMB has collaborated with Main Light LLC to make some of Zinteco’s Solaris Flare Q+ fixtures available to cross-rent in the U.S. market. 100% of the rental revenue generated will pass on to Zinteco, whose principals, good friends of TMB for many years, still live in Kyiv and whose time is now 100% devoted to supporting Ukrainian refugees and defense efforts.Read More »TMB and Main Light Team UP to Help One of our Own

This soon led him to Astera.Read More »Rainbow Lighting Invests in Astera

The Design of SoundStorm MDLBEAST Festival supported by PRG

December’s rendition of the SoundStorm MDLBEAST festival in Riyadh continued to set standards for excellence in event design while also representing a groundbreaking cultural shift for Saudi Arabia. The entire festival spread out over a 5.5 km purpose-built site housing eight dynamic stages where more than 150 acts performed over three days for more than 450,000 visitors. The sheer scale of the event and the challenge of building in a desert epitomize the delicate interplay between creativity and logistics, necessitating a global team effort to orchestrate. At the heart of this symphony was Alex Reardon, the Creative Director and Lead Designer from Silent House, the design firm entrusted with shaping the festival’s visual identity. Joe Beardsmore Flows on Tom Odell’s ‘Black Friday Tour’ with CHAUVET & Colour Sound Experiment

The deepest emotions tend to live in that area between light and darkness, where nebulous boundaries give them endless space to expand and shrink, twist and turn in infinite directions. By devising such a space on stage for Tom Odell’s Black Friday Tour, Joe Beardsmore created the ideal visual setting for music that one critic aptly described as “a raw emotional masterpiece.” Busking his show on a ChamSys MagicQ 250M Stadium console, Beardsmore of Phosphor, moved seamlessly in sync with the Brit Award winning singer-songwriter and his seven-piece band, blending shadows and brightness, silhouettes, and distinctive light angles to underscore the heartfelt narrative of this roughly 90-minute show.
