Verge Aero Drone Show Gets ‘Golden Buzzer’ From America’s Got Talent: Extreme

Verge Aero flew a dazzling drone show on the premiere episode of NBC’s America’s Got Talent: Extreme! and received the Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell. The Golden Buzzer sends Verge Aero directly to the show finale to compete against six other finalists for the $500,000 prize. The first show of the new AGT spin-off aired on Monday, Feb. 21.

In Memoriam: MI Industry Icon, Juan ‘JC’ Faxas, Passes at 59

Juan “JC” Faxas, formerly with the ADJ Group of Companies and a prominent figure within the MI industry community, died Feb. 12 at age 59. Born in Cuba, Faxas’ family brought him to the U.S. at age six. His lifelong love of music shaped his career, first working as a DJ during high school in the 1970s before joining Guitar Center and then, later in his career, ADJ.

Southern rock stalwarts Drivin N Cryin performed a big-looking show on the compact stage at Ghost Train Brewing Company in Birmingham, AL with expansive visuals from Gable Larramore. The LD used a ChamSys MagicQ MQ80 to drive the lighting rig supplied by Kauffman Sound that included Rogue R1 FX-B, Maverick MK1 Spot, and COLORado 1 Quad Zoom fixtures from Chauvet Professional.

Bandit Lites Wins Industry Award for Best Concert Visuals
