Solotech Acquires Specs Audio, Expands AV Reach

MONTREAL – Solotech has acquired Specs Audio, a privately-held AV systems integrator that is active in both sales and rentals. Based in Gatineau, Quebec, Specs Audio adds to Solotech’s expanding number of regional offices and expands its logistical resources in the greater Ottawa area.

BREA, CA – Altinex named 15-year AV veteran Grant Cossey vice president, sales. He is based at the company’s corporate headquarters here. Prior to Altinex, Cossey served as the national sales manager for Presentation Switchers, Inc. Cossey has also worked as senior sales manager for Southland Technology, Inc. and as west coast business unit manager for Karcher Group, Inc., west coast regional manager for Analog Way, Inc., and regional manager for Anderson Audio Visual, Inc.

I Drink It Up EVVVERYDAY!

Picking up the pieces is what has been happening as of late. Do you know when you start little projects here and there, but they never get completed? I happened to get quite a few of those done by finishing my ESP Suite at home. In doing so I needed some key components to be able to make it all work. First was getting Boot Camp up and running on my iMac. You heard in my last blog talking about how I couldn’t get it to complete the windows setup. It turns out it didn’t have service pack two, and to run Boot Camp you must have service pack two or higher for it to properly install windows.
