Nina Agelvis, lighting designer and programmer is this month’s NextGen making a path for herself in the industry. She has already had a rich and varied career though she is only in her twenties. Her resume includes being an electrician, a stagehand, a drafter, teacher, programmer, and a lighting designer. She’s worked in repertory theaters, live music clubs, the corporate world, and on a cruise ship.
Chelsea Hartley, who just finished the recent South American leg of Bad Bunny’s “World’s Hottest Tour,” took some time to speak with PLSN about her current work as a Production Coordinator. She has also worked on Gwen Stefani’s “Just a Girl” concert residency in Las Vegas as well as toured with Karol G in 2021 and the New Kids on the Block.
Since graduating from Arizona State University, Hailey Featherstone is quickly adding titles to her multi-hyphenate credits as Lighting Designer, Lighting Director, and Programmer. She has toured with Hans Zimmer Live, Eddie Izzard, and Paul McCartney.
Amanda Facemire, a standout media server programmer for live events, including virtual productions, has put in the hours and taught herself the technology to excel in her field. Having caught the attention of many in the industry, Facemire is this month’s nominee for the NextGen of the Year Parnelli honor, which will be announced at the 21st Parnelli Awards ceremony in April 2023.
This month’s NextGen nominee is Lighting Director/Programmer Vanessa Arciga, who already has an impressive list of credits, working with a number of industry leading designers and companies. She most recently was out on Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour Tour with Paul “Arlo” Guthrie’s design.
