Along with the technical specs for a new video wall – i.e., pixel pitch times three (in feet, not mm) for optimal viewing distance – venue operators and video production companies should give some thought as to what is going to be put on these shiny new panels, be they LCD or LED. Is there someone creating content for you, or are you that person? Is it solely camera (I hope you bought a good one and have a decent operator, or at the very least, on the end of a concert chain-of-command that can produce this kind of thing), or are you the endpoint of some corporate signage network?
