Lighting Golf Gear with Daylight

Share this Post:

When it comes to lighting golf gear at the top trade event for the golf industry — the PGA Merchandise Show — LD Mike Mahoney goes with a simple, natural solution. “The idea behind lighting the clubs is there is a lot of iron, a lot of metal I need to make pop. So I try and consistently keep the color temperature high in these areas, at 6000°K. With arc lights, it’s simple, but every conventional fixture lighting a golf club has to have a cut of Lee 202 attached.”
