Doug Adams, President of ImageSFX, has been working with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for over 20 years supplying pyrotechnics and special effects, including lasers. A new effect added for the latest shows: a high-pressure fog column effect called SonicBook X SmokeJets. “The SonicBoom SmokeJets give a very different look and is a reasonably priced device. It is very cool look, and they are also efficient and versatile. They use fast dissipating molecular fluid. They almost look like cryogenic jets or steam jets. Each one has RGB lighting in them as well so you can color the jets,” Adams noted. “We inverted a bunch of those to shoot down as well and that looked really cool.”
