As Debi Moen reports in her March 2021 “Designer Watch” column, lighting veteran Joel Reiff turned from lighting to writing as venues went dark due to Covid for the past year. Unable to serve as lighting director for the tour Foreigner had planned for 2020, Reiff used the downtime to churn out three new novels now available on Amazon. The Trophy Life and Torturing the Trees are the first two in a series described as “murder mysteries with a noir taste to them,” while Three Sides to Every Story is his second collection of “twisted” short stories.
