In an era of “fake news,” Foreign Policy contributor David Rothkopf points to a real problem – confirmation bias. A few still “dig for truth,” Rothkopf writes, but many others seem content to “skim the media for anything that makes them feel better about themselves,” dismissing anything that conflicts with what they already know to be true.
