For the epic looks in Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty Tour 360, designers Barry Lather (creative director), Nick Whitehouse (Creative Producer and Lighting Designer) and Nate Cromwell (Lighting Director) shared their insights about how they tackled the challenge of coming up with a unique visual dynamic for their artist incorporating an array of show design features that could travel the distance from feminine sparkle to a gutsy rock vibe. A key element in the overall design was to push the envelope with a series of projection-friendly roll drops that served to create a visual canvas lit up with more than 30 31K projectors.
