LD Seth Bernstein and 4Wall teamed up to give Animal Planet’s popular Puppy Bowl, set in a model stadium and complete with a kitten halftime show, an LED update in time for the event’s broadcast with Super Bowl LIV. Bernstein had noticed that, in addition to the harsh shadows cast by the conventional light fixtures, the old 2000W tungsten lighting made the set uncomfortably warm for animals and handlers alike. He turned to 4Wall for an LED lighting package that included Kino Flo Celeb 400/400Q’s and Arri SkyPanel 120’s. In addition, Bernstein updated the look of the stadium set itself with Martin VDO Sceptron battens that suggested more of a modern stadium look with large LED video displays.
