Mitchell Schellenger, LD for AJR’s “One Spectacular Night,” worked with Tait’s Marc Thomas on the synchronization of various automation aspects of the show, produced within the Covid-safe bubble at Rock Lititz in Lititz, PA. Schellenger was impressed with Thomas and Tait’s new epiQ console, which synchronized key show elements ranging from a treadmill, video, Jack in flight, music, and interaction with the video wall. “Usually I have to sit down for hours and plan each piece,” Schellenger said. “This was very different. I gave them the visual and audio track, and a few minutes later, Marc would say, “You want to see it?”
