Bondi Pavilion Theatre Gets LSC Control System

SYDNEY — The refurbished 230-seat theatre at the Bondi Pavilion near Bondi Beach is using a new lighting control system from LSC Lighting Systems, including a maXim XL lighting desk plus four 12-channel iPro dimmers. Herkes Professional Lighting supplied the gear.

MOSCOW — More than 2,000 square meters of LED video animated the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, the 54th staging of the finals. Procon Event Engineering of Hamburg supplied lighting, sound, video and rigging, rolling in 42 trucks serviced by a crew of 70 technicians.

ATLANTA — Six Flags over Georgia’ 27-year-old Monster Plantation attraction recently underwent a multimillion-dollar upgrade and was reopened recently as the Monster Mansion. Gary Goddard Entertainment (GGE) produced and designed the new attraction, with Lightswitch providing the new lighting design.

HSL Provides Gear for Welsh-Language Travel Quiz Show

CARDIFF, U.K. — HSL supplied moving and digital lights plus LED elements for the latest series of 0 and 1, a Welsh language travel quiz show produced by Boomerang for S4C. Lighting designer Martyn Rourke specified the rig and the eight shows were recorded in a week at Omni Studios.
