The 38th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place on Friday Nov. 3 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. This year’s class of inductees were Performers Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, and The Spinners. Musical Influence inductees were DJ Kool Herc, and Link Wray; and the Musical Excellence Inductees were Chaka Khan, Al Kooper, and Bernie Taupin. Over the summer, YouTube personality and professional boxer Jake Paul defeated mixed martial artist Nate Diaz in a fiercely contested cruiserweight professional crossover boxing match billed as ‘Ready 4 War’. Fought in front of a sellout crowd at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, TX, the match went a full 10 rounds before Paul was announced the victor based on a unanimous judge’s decision.
