Designer’s Insights, by Steve Jennings
Andrew Heid (Lighting Director):
“For this theater run, it has developed into a very intimate show for Trace to interact with his audience. We played the Britt Pavilion just outside of Jacksonville, OR, and the vibe was very intimate and woodsy, which works perfectly with the set. The show has many variations depending on the venue and restrictions but, overall, the intimate feel is what’s important.
The tour is carrying 6 Vari*Lite VL2500s, six Martin MAC 2000 Washes with beam kits, 10 Bandit GRN Washes and two Bandit GRN 8-Light LED moles. Locally, we are getting a standard 120K lighting rig with four ACL bars upstage, six 8-Light moles downstage and eight Lekos for band specials.”
