For his sold-out homecoming show at London’s Alexandra Palace, Skepta, a.k.a. Joseph Junior Adenuga, brought his brand of grime music (think U.K. Hip-Hop) to a crowd of 10,000 VER provide a video and lighting assist that included a 23-by-7-meter upstage LED wall made from 600+ LED tiles. Designer Tobias G. Rylander from Seven Design Works provided the production design for the event and executed all the lighting operation himself. VER lighting project manager Craig Hancock provided over 100 TMB Solaris Flare fixtures paired with GLP X4Bars to shroud the stage with ultra-deep saturated color, augmented by hard-edge creative effects provided by a selection of Martin’s AirFX automated heads. Along with Skepta, the Dec. 2 show featured JME, Novelist and Giggs.
