Guitarist Jeff Beck hit the road this summer for a run of dates that included an Aug. 10 concert at the Hollywood Bowl that celebrated his half-century in music. For the tour, Beck was joined by blues veteran Buddy Guy, who’s set to serve as a co-headliner on the majority of the currently announced dates. The shows serve as a prelude of sorts for Beck’s new book, BECK01, which talks about his “twin inspirations — hot rodding and rock ‘n’ roll.”
