Event Details:
The SoCal “Concerts in Your Car” drive-in concert series debuted June 26 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds north of Los Angeles and branched out to a second site, the Del Mar Fairgrounds near San Diego, in September. The setups were similar at both locations — shows were held on a four-sided stage with a 14-by-26-foot video screen gracing each side. Darvik provided the stage, video and lighting design for Slightly Stoopid, Snoop Dogg, The Beach Boys and other acts.
