The Mania SCX800 is the latest in Martin’s Mania series of powerful, compact and feature packed scanners. Driven by 150 watts of discharge power, the SCX800 is a one-of-a-kind rollerscan effect with all new gobo designs, 4 “fat” beam projection and a continuously rotating mirror drum designed for shows and nightclubs.
The scanner effect houses a quality optical system for maximum light output and true high-definition image quality. It combines with a long life 150 W discharge lamp (6000 hours, included) to kick out an impressively powerful array of graphics and color. And for easy serviceability, the lamp in the SCX800 is a breeze to replace.
Included are eight interchangeable, indexable rotating gobos in a multitude of colors for a a variety of effects. According to the company, the SCX800 has a separate shutter for fast strobe effects. Designed for both installation and portable use, the SCX800 is DMX controllable for manageability or use the convenience of the music trigger or stand-alone mode. It includes 24 preprogrammed shows for fast start up.
The SCX800 operates continuously and can run all night long. It is officially ETL, cETL and CE approved, which means users are assured of the fixtures’ safety and performance.
The Mania SCX800 comes in a durable yet compact and stylish housing complete with hanging bracket that doubles as a carrying handle. It includes a number of mounting options and is durable enough for life on the road.
