Geez Louise

Geez Louise, well I’m back and all settled in good ole Maryland. Aside from getting all my stuff into my new apartment I’ve been actually doing a lot or prep work for the Bonerama tour. I’ve been really working at adapting my old cue list to all the new ones I wrote. So what happened was that I took out “The Notebook” and began brainstorming all the ideas I had for the tunes. After getting down the initial ideas I like to go through all my old cue lists and compare what I wrote to the cues I already had programmed. Now, some cues work exactly with my old ones and then others require a bit of changes. I’ll also go through and create some new custom looks I feel would fit the show well. Another thing I’ve been doing is getting baggage for all my utilities like tools, cables, notebooks, etc. all gathered and placed in a certain way so I’ll be efficient as possible for loading in and out.

So after a few days relaxing and running a couple light shows while I was still home for some chill local bands named Basshound and Earthtone (I can’t seem to stay away from the console of a calculated average of 4 days) I find myself sitting in the parking lot of the comfort inn outside Columbus Airport in a rent-a-car checking my email since I can steal a wireless internet here in the parking lot. The reason I’m here is to pick up another crew guy from the airport, go pick up a shuttle van, load up my lighting gear and the rest of the shit I’m lugging around, and meet up with the tour in Denver (“wow Denver! The sunshine state” NAME THAT MOVIE) by tomorrow night sometime to settle in the hotel before the big debut Friday night. At least I’ll have a few more days to go over the bands material a few more times and tie up all the loose ends (lets hope so!). SO, for now I’m going to listen to some Sirius Satellite Radio (Jam-On and Raw Dog Comedy are my favs) for the time being and catch up with you all sometime along the way to Denver on in Denver. Take care!
