Each translucent, tube-shaped fixture measures one foot in diameter (304 mm), and because the units are battery powered with wireless control, they can be used in many innovative ways, indoors or out.
Along with their potential as tabletop centerpieces, the fixtures could be used near walls for uplighting, or configured around a stage or pavilion for a lantern-style effect. They are also stackable and can also be arranged in a series of horizontal arrays to illuminate sidewalks or a fashion show runway.
Compact and light in weight, the Event Cylinders have an IP65 rating for outdoor use at concerts, pool parties or store openings, and the battery-powered fixtures have wireless control, allowing for innovative placement and use.
The fixtures will run for 12 hours or more on a single charge, and they can be fully recharged within six hours.

Elation’s Event Cylinder is available in two control-type versions:
Wireless DMX
The 13W Wireless DMX model (Event Cylinder DMX) incorporates 72 Tri-Color RGB LEDS. It can be operated in four different DMX modes: 1, 3, 4 and 6 channels.
RF with Wireless Remote
The 10W-watt RF Model (Event Cylinder RF) uses 48 Tri-Color RGB LEDs.
Both versions use Tri-Color LEDs for homogenized RGB color mixing and the elimination of “color shadows.” Both also feature sound active and master-slave modes.
