Absen: KLCOB V2 Series
Designed in pixel pitches of 0.9mm, 1.2mm, and 1.5mm, and powered by full flip-chip COB (Chip-on-Board) technology, the Absen KLCOB V2 provides color precision and heat mitigation. It’s designed with a 40% boost in energy savings and a 50% increase in durability. It features black coating technology, ensuring visuals without glare or reflection, as well as HDR capabilities, a 15000:1 contrast ratio, a DCI-P3 color gamut, 2FPS low latency, 600nits of brightness, a palette of 1.07 billion colors, and smooth 22-bit grayscale transitions. Its surface light technology effectively minimizes moiré and provides outstanding in-camera performance. It’s designed with 360° protection against external impacts.
ADJ: Hydro IP Tester
Hydro IP Tester, a dedicated mobile service tool, is designed to assess the integrity of compatible IP rated lighting fixtures, including ADJ’s Hydro Series. The device is intended for use by competent technicians who want to open and reseal the cases of IP rated fixtures to carry out tasks such as lamp or gobo replacement and regular maintenance. It’s built into a rugged carry case, complete with a storage compartment for the supplied power lead and air hose. It can be used to test the integrity of an IP rated fixture following routine maintenance by performing both pressure and vacuum tests. This procedure is essential after a sealed fixture’s case has opened before it is again subject to wet, humid, or dusty conditions.
Blizzard: Verismo Profile IP WW
The Verismo™ Profile IP WW, joins Blizzard’s new LED theatrical line of profile and Fresnel luminaires. Available with a 300W warm white (3,200K, 98 CRI) light engine. (It’s also available with a 300W RGBALC LED module for color. The Verismo Profile IP is ETL-listed, built with powerCON® TRUE1™-compatible in/out, and pair with four different beam spread lenses (19°, 26°, 36°, 50°). It has an IP65 rating and features 16-bit dimming, four selectable dimming curves, user selectable dimming speeds, four manual framing shutters & manual focus, and includes 1-25Hz strobe effects. The Verismo has a flicker-free resolution, takes B-sized gobos, and includes a powerCON TRUE1-compatible In/Out for power and a 5-pin Input/Output XLR for data.
CHAUVET: Maverick Force 2 BeamWash
The Maverick Force 2 BeamWash is designed to be a lighter, brighter, tighter, and faster RGBW LED yoke wash fixture with pixel mapping and zoom. Maverick Force 2 BeamWash incorporates the latest LED and optical technologies to project the narrowest beams to the deepest aerial washes—it’s zoom range is 3.7° to 44.1°. The unit comes with a Virtual Color wheel with instantaneous access to a wide array of options. Foreground and background colors combine for atmospheric effects instantly with its built-in virtual gobo wheel. The luminaire features a calibrated white for 7,500K at full output, full pixel mapping, and smooth 16-bit fades. Control options included DMX, RDM, sACN, Art-Net, Kling-Net, or W-DMX.
Christie: M Series RGB Pure Laser Projectors
Christie® introduces two new RGB pure laser projectors: the M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB; both deliver 15,750 lumens. They feature simplified installation and operation by delivering full brightness at 120V or 220V, omnidirectional rigging capabilities, and TruLife+ electronics, which eliminates the hassle and cost of removable options cards, and weigh 83.8 lbs. They’re compatible with legacy M, J, and Crimson Series lenses and M Series rigging frames for additional cost savings. With RGB pure laser illumination, the new projectors produce vibrant, bright, and true-to-life visuals that approach 98% of the Rec.2020 color gamut, while operating at a quiet 43 dBA to ensure that the focus remains on the screen.
DVS: Vizra Series LED Panels
VIZRA LED video panels have a lightweight design, innovative hardware, and incorporate optical innovations with the latest image processing. Available for both indoor and temporary outdoor applications, all models are offered in both 500x500mm and 500x1000mm panel sizes. Vizra maintains a lightweight design at 15.4 lbs. (500x500mm) and 26 lbs. (500x1000mm). New hardware features for durability and user-friendliness in the field include an integrated magnetic alignment system with heavy-duty magnets to help align and temporarily hold a panel in place until the locks are engaged. Grip handles are strategically placed so a single user can easily align and position with one hand, then engage the locks with the other.
Environmental Lights: Side View RGB PixelControl Strip Light
Continuous Side View RGB PixelControl Strip Light in black finish emits a continuous line of light from the strip’s edge. The neon-like appearance of the light is only visible when viewed from the side. The extremely narrow profile combined with their patented Continuous Chip-on-Board (COB) technology provides a highly dependable, hotspot-free, discreet lighting solution that can be placed in tight spaces. The black finish allows this strip to blend seamlessly into dark environments. It’s available in 13 varieties in 5-meter reels, and fixed color temperatures ranging from 2,700K to 6,500K as well as tunable white and non-PixelControl RGB. White finish PCB and waterproof versions are available.
LynTec: Smart Switch
Smart Switch Sets adds PoE and Ethernet connectivity, allowing it to be programmed via LynTec’s web-based interface in order to identify specific panels and zones of LynTec’s RPC, RPCR, LCP, NPAC, and XPC power distribution solutions. Each switch set is programmed from LynTec’s easy-to-use GUI, allowing integrators to target specific panels and zones without wiring it back to the panel. Integrators can install Smart Switches at multiple locations to control the panel on the same or different zones, with each switch set displaying the current zone status. The new Smart Switches will be available as wall plate switches or in a mountable rack plate for simple control at the equipment rack.
Obsidian Control Systems: EN6 IP EtherDMX Node
The NETRON EN6 IP is an Ethernet to DMX gateway with six RDM compatible ports in a rugged IP65 rated chassis. It’s designed for live productions, movie sets, outdoor installations, or interior use with long term protection from humidity, dust, and debris. The EN6 IP unlocks the four universe ONYX NOVA Edition. Other IP65 solutions in the NETRON range include a 6-port RDM Splitter (RDM6 IP) and an 8-port managed POE switch (NS8 IP). Utilizing a custom-designed sealed chassis, IP ports, and touch controls, the NETRON IP65 range provides data distribution for exterior or interior locations that require dust and moisture protection. Rain, dust, pyrotechnics, and special effects like confetti or snow, are all no match for NETRON’s innovative product design.
Pixelhue: P Series Presentation Switcher
The P Series (P20 and P10) are 4K presentation switchers in a compact form factor. Featuring 4K processing, the P20 and P10 are designed with a wide variety of 4K connectors, including HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2, and 12G-SDI. The switchers can work in switcher mode or PGM only mode. In switcher mode, a single P20 supports up to two 4K×2K@60Hz outputs and a single P10 supports one 4K×2K@60Hz output. In PGM only mode, the output resolution per P20 is up to 8K×4K@60Hz and P10 is up to 8K×2K@60Hz.Additionally, the P20 and P10 come with dedicated AUX outputs connecting to auxiliary devices and a dedicated Multiviewer output is provided for live monitoring of all the inputs and outputs from one display. Image deinterlacing is also supported.
Vari-Lite: Neo 4.1 Software Upgrade
Vari-Lite announced that Neo 4.1 software for all current and legacy Neo Series products is now available for download from the Vari-Lite website. The new update brings features first seen on the Neo X Series consoles to the entire Neo family, eliminating the need to “unlock” universes and adding an updated user experience. With the new 4.1 update, all new and existing Neo Series consoles will offer the maximum number of universes possible in the console (10 universes for the Neo C10 Console, 100 universes for all other models) without the need to pay anything to “unlock” the console. In addition to these improvements, there have been over 125 other enhancements and bug fixes in Neo 4.1.
