ADJ: Encore Profile Mini Color

ADJ has expanded its portfolio of theatrical lighting fixtures with the introduction of a new compact and versatile LED-powered ellipsoidal luminaire—the Encore Profile Mini Color. It features a versatile color mixing LED engine comprised of 16 3.5W RGBWAL. By varying the intensity of the six LED types, an extremely wide color palette can be achieved, ranging from vibrant and bold primaries to soft and subtle pastels. The LED engine can also generate white light with color temperatures varying from 2,700K up to 7,000K and a good CRI of >86. In addition to full RGBWAL color mixing, the fixture also features a dedicated Dynamic White DMX channel to allow simple selection of any desired color temperature of white light.

Elation: Proteus Rayzor 1960

ETC: Eos v3.2 Software Release

ETC’s Eos lighting control family has a new, free software release—Eos v3.2. This update includes tools to quickly adjust fixture-, device-, and session-level settings, as well as expansions in the Augment3d programming environment. Eos v3.2 brings several key settings from the shell into the Eos application proper, allowing them to be saved in the show file and adjusted in real time without leaving your session. Color control has also received significant upgrades in the new software. Eos v3.2 adds a suite of tools that elevates your design and programming, letting you work not just faster—but better. It includes new features like macro search, cue alerts, and focus palettes that follow Augment3d objects.

SGM Light: Touring VPL

SGM has updated its IP65 rated Video Pixel Linear (VPL) product so that it is completely suitable for temporary production settings or touring. Features include touring industry standard power and data connectors; a low-profile clamp and bracket system which enables the creation of shapes as well as flexible, quick attachment to truss; and new firmware which provides individual addressing of each VPL as well as sACN universe priority handling. The Touring VPL can reproduce high visibility pixel content even in high ambient light environments. This considerably improves the impact for direct view applications. Power and data are run in one cable with no need for external power supplies and you can have long runs on a single circuit.
