Astera: ProjectionLens for PlutoFresnel
ProjectionLens transforms the Astera PlutoFresnel into a profile fixture offering zoom, 4-blade shutters, plus a gobo. It quickly slides onto the luminaire and has a manual zoom range of 16° to 36° adjusted by twisting the lens barrel like a camera zoom lens. Two focus wheels are included to assist with E-Sized gobo projection—standard and close focuses. The PlutoFresnel, with the Titan LED engine, has a 15° to 60° beam angle as standard, and has both wired and wireless DMX control with up to three hours run time with the built-in battery. The fixture has an output comparable to a traditional 300W Tungsten Fresnel, with power consumption of less than 80W, and weighs just 4.5kg.
Environmental Lights: Dual-Mode Universal Dimming Drivers
These full-capacity drivers accept universal input dimming signals compatible with all major control systems. They also feature a toggle that allows users to easily switch between constant voltage reduction (CVR) and pulse width modulation (PWM) output modes. PWM output can be used for loads within 25’ of the power supply, while CVR should be used for any runs beyond that. Unlike most power supplies, CVR ensures that there are no voltage spikes, keeping the LED’s running at the coolest possible temperature. Heat is inversely correlated to the lifespan of LEDs, therefore CVR output is critically important when power supplies are installed at long distances from light fixtures. This innovative technology also grants smooth, continuous, flicker-free dimming down to 0.1%.
ETC: ColorSource Spot VXT
An IP65 rated LED luminaire, the ColorSource Spot VXT features a five color array of red, green, blue, indigo, and lime, providing both soft pastels and bold saturated colors. Easily configure Spot VXT fixtures wirelessly using the free Set Light app and NFC (Near Field Communication) from a mobile device. The ColorSource Spot VXT also works with existing inventories of Source Four lens tubes and accessories. Features include powerCON® TRUE1® TOP connector, DMX/RDM in and thru (5-pin XLR), City Theatrical’s Multiverse® wireless DMX/RDM, LED droop compensation, and aluminum housing. The ColorSource Spot VXT has a five-year warranty on the light, and a 10-year warranty on the LED array.
Whirlwind: Rack Lightning™, LED Rack Illumination System
Rack Lightning™ is an RGBW LED lighting system that can illuminate equipment racks in eight different color settings, with adjustable dimming control. The system includes an overhead single space unit [PLR-PS3 or PLR-PS3S] that powers linear LED rail kits [PLR-PSRK] down the sides of the rack. Available in sizes to fit 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 24 space racks, these rail kits will attach to the rack without having to remove any of the gear currently in the rack.
