ADJ: Zoom Lens for Encore Profile Pro Series
Two new high-definition zoom lens options are available for ADJ’s Encore Profile Pro WW and Encore Profile Pro Color ellipsoidal theatrical lighting fixtures. The new EP LENS 2550Z (25 – 50°) and EP LENS 1530Z (15 – 30°) allow for field angle adjustments to be made quickly and easily without the need to swap lens assemblies. Each incorporates a plano-convex aspheric front lens, combined with a bi-convex aspheric rear lens—both have been treated with an anti-reflective coating. In addition to manual zoom, the lenses also offer manual focus control, allowing adjustment of the beam edge from soft to hard. 20-gauge stainless steel four-blade shutter assemblies allow for sharpness without halation. In addition, sturdy gel frame holders, each with two accessory slots and a quick release gel frame retainer.
CHAUVET: Maverick Force 3 Profile
Maverick Force 3 Profile is the latest addition to CHAUVET’s Force series. Featuring a 915W LED engine, the Maverick Force 3 Profile delivers 40,906 lumens of output and a 4.9° to 53.9° zoom range. Color calibration and gobo selection in the Maverick Force 3 Profile—with variable CMY + CTO color mixing system—match those of other Maverick Force fixtures. Along with the four-blade, rotating shutter frame system, it offers static, rotating, and animation effects. It also includes an animation wheel; 16-bit dimming; CRI filter; two independently layerable prisms—five-facet linear and five facet round; independent light and medium frosts; and two gobo wheels—one rotating, one static.
City Theatrical: QolorFLEX 25x3A Dimmer
The five-channel QolorFLEX 25x3A Dimmer is a low voltage, constant voltage, dimmer designed for large installations of LED tape. It’s designed for installations of 5-in-1 LED tapes, including QolorFLEX 5-in-1 LED Tape, HiQ High CRI, rather than LED tapes with four or fewer channels. It features 25 channels of control, creating efficiencies when it comes to installation time and wiring. The QolorFLEX 25x3A Dimmer is fully DMX and RDM compatible and offers standalone functions. The maximum current load per channel is 3A with a Maximum Device Input of 75A. DMX connections include 5-Pin XLR, 3-Pin XLR, and etherCON RJ45 connectors, which are a ruggedized and lockable RJ45 connector system. The QolorFLEX 25x3A Dimmer requires an external power supply to suit the LED tape being used and is designed for indoor use.
Claypaky: SKYLOS Laser-Sourced Luminaire
SKYLOS, a laser-sourced luminaire, is designed to be a replacement for traditional Xenon searchlights. With a custom 300W white light laser source, it produces a parallel, uniform beam. With a total power consumption of only 600W, SKYLOS has a similar light output as a 4,000W Xenon lamp. Skylos features include a 300mm front lens, an adjustable beam from 0.5° to 5°, a slot for customizable gobos, and a range of prisms—rotating six-sided and five-sided linear prisms, on a second level, a fixed 4-sided prism, which can be superimposed on the other two. Also, a 15-color wheel, a 5° frost filter, a 24-bit digital dimmer, and a digital stop-strobe effect.
HIVE: BeeBlade SDM-Compatible Media Engine
BeeBlade, a new approach to media playback with a high level of scalability and versatility, features Hive’s BeeSync technology. It enables seamless frame-perfect synchronization across devices without the need for separate reference sync cabling and expensive HDSDI hardware. BeeBlade can sit inside a projector or display and requires only an Ethernet connection. It can be deployed in various ways—inserted directly into SDM-compatible projectors or displays, leveraging the advantages of the SDM format, simplifying installation, and eliminating the need for expensive video distribution systems. BeeBlade can be deployed in a standalone BeeBox, where display technology lacks an SDM slot. For a high-density rack solution, multiple BeeBlade modules can be inserted into the BeeHive, enabling 16 4K outputs from a single 5U rack.
Pathway Connectivity Solutions: VIA24 Installation Ethernet Switch
Pathway’s VIA24 delivers performance and functionality to improve the capacity and capabilities of entertainment networks. Building on the success of its VIA12 Installation Ethernet Switch, the VIA24 includes an increased port count (24 1G PoE ports), including four 10G SFP+ ports, and an internal, 170W power supply, all within 1U of rack space. It’s equipped with a front panel interface, allowing users to navigate through its functions, without needing its free configuration tool, Pathscape. The VIA24 is specifically designed for permanent installations, where the cost of ruggedized connectors is not needed, and rack space is at a premium. Management features include VLAN Support, EAPS Ring Protection, and IGMP. Many of the features may be configured by using the front panel display and rotary encoder.
