Holotronica: DarkMat®
DarkMat® is a light canceling system for absorbing light spill to further enhance holographic illusions when working with Hologauze® transparent projection screen. DarkMat is a one-meter square tile for floors and walls designed to be placed behind Hologauze to eliminate all reflections from projection and lighting. With 98% reduction in unwanted spill, the realism of the holographic experience is enhanced, and more viewing angles and audience possibilities are unlocked. The DarkMat tiles are highly durable and designed for quick and accurate assembly with magnets on the North and South polarity, so they lock together and stay in place. A proprietary DarkMat® filter acts as a polarizer and is laminated on top of the projector to further enhance the image quality.
