Every year designers, vendors and event producers alike attend the trade shows that show off the latest offerings from every manufacturer. From NAMM to Prolight + Sound to LDI, these events have been shelved until next year or forced to become virtual presentations. Along with PLSN’s penchant to continuously flood PLSN TV (www.plsn.me/tv) with videos showing the latest gear released in demo form, we have assembled a section of our magazine this month that we’re dedicating to Road Tests and Product Spotlights. With the Road Tests, our team of technicians and designers play around with a fixture in hand and go through all its attributes. With the Product Spotlights, we gather information from the manufacturers as well as end users to give our readers the skinny on the new gear. Everyone looks forward to 2021 and resuming life, albeit different from the past. By the time we get ramped up, all of these products will be readily available.
