Commercial wireless devices for DMX have been around for about 20 years now. They were used for theatrical plays where running a cable to a designated area just wasn’t possible due to obstacles in the production. And that still applies today. Goddard Design Co. was ahead of the field back then. I used their products to get signal from a van to the top of the Georgia Dome for a Super Bowl in the 1990’s.
