Moving Head Beam Luminaires

Share this Post:

This month, the PLSN Buyer’s Guide looks at Moving Head Beam Luminaires, listing the features available from a range of manufacturers. Beam luminaires have the narrowest beam angle and produce an almost laser-like thin beam of light in the air. Quick history trivia: Many consider the Claypaky Sharpy to be the first beam luminaire, creating this category in late 2010. Typically, these units are used in live events, TV broadcasts, or anywhere that their non-tapered, unique beams add to the visual punch of a design. Also note that next month we will look at batten/striplight products. Contact PLSN Co-Editor Michael S. Eddy at meddy@timelesscom.com to be in the April’s Buyers Guide.
