As with concert touring fixtures, lights meant for broadcast TV have shifted to LED light sources for their lower power draw, cooler operating temperatures and lower need for maintenance. The newer LED fixtures have also eliminated most of the early LED concerns with light quality, color rendering and dimming, to the point where literally nobody is demanding tungsten light sources for their studio upgrades or installs. Here are the latest offerings for broadcast studios and music video/livestream productions.
