Kinetic Lighting announced the addition of Amy D Lux as the new System Sales Account Representative. Lux’s appointment comes as Kinetic continues to expand its System Sales Department, following the recent transition this summer of Kate Smith, formerly of CalArts, into the role of Systems Project Manager.
The additions of both Lux and Smith further strengthen Kinetic’s ability to deliver top-tier lighting solutions tailored to each unique project. Laura Green, the Director of System Sales & Installations, who has been with the company for nearly nine years, will continue to lead and support the department, and her experience will provide invaluable support as the team continues to expand.

Amy D Lux is a Lighting Systems Design Consultant, Keynote Speaker, and Content Designer who presents on topics including dynamic lighting and controls, and develops educational materials for specifiers, contractors, and end users. She has been a moderator, panel speaker, and presenter for conferences at LightFair, Archlight, LDI, and USITT, and has authored related articles in designing lighting, American Society of Interior Designers, and Protocol Magazine by ESTA. Lux serves on the board of Women In Lighting and Design as Treasurer and actively contributes to the community through various forms of outreach.
