The ballot for the 23rd annual Parnelli Awards Ceremony has been finalized, and voting has begun!
The ballot is posted online at parnelliawards.com, and it’s up to YOU, the PLSN reader, to decide who among the nominees will step up to the awards podium at the Anaheim Hilton in Anaheim, CA on the evening of Jan. 24, 2025 during the NAMM Show.

You can help decide who among the nominees gets the next Parnelli nod, including for this year’s best Lighting Designer, Lighting Director, Production Designer, Video Director, Media Content Creator, Tour Manager, and Production Manager. There are also awards honoring the companies providing lighting, sound, staging, set construction, video, rigging, pyro, trucking, and freight forwarding to the touring industry.
You can also choose among the six regional finalists for the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year, and help decide which of the Indispensable Technology (“IT” Award) nominees should win a Parnelli for best product in the Lighting, Video, Staging/Effects and Sound categories.
The voting continues until December 13th, then the votes will be tallied, and the top-secret list of winners will be carefully guarded until the envelopes are opened at the podium on Jan. 24. That’s when the winners will share the spotlight with career honorees Malcolm Weldon (Lifetime Achievement), Roy Bickel (Visionary) and Dave Rat (Audio Innovator).
The gala begins with the Parnelli Cocktail Party at 6 p.m. The awards banquet starts at 7 p.m. The Jan. 24 ceremony will be the 23rd annual Parnelli Awards presentation, and like the 22 awards events that came before, the event is wholly dependent upon the generous support from Parnelli Awards sponsors.
