Among the first things they will encounter at the booth is the special demo area created to showcase the multi-award-winning Kino Flo MIMIK image based video lighting tile. Using patented technology to connect “worlds,” MIMIK projects light that mirrors video content while applying a higher tonal and color rendering range.
With its unique capacity to translate incoming RGB video signals into five individual colour emitters, MIMIK generates synchronized foreground lighting that creates the utmost realism on virtual sets. This cutting edge product has already won widespread acclaim for its ability to deliver extended spectral bandwidth and cinematic color fidelity when lighting talent and set elements in virtual production environments.
Controlled by the Megapixel VR HELIOS LED processor, MIMIK expands real-time and post-production options, delivering 10,000 NITS, along with the ability to shoot as high as 900 frames per second and offer as many as 30 Alpha channels at 30 frames per second.
Educational sessions will be offered throughout the show to demonstrate to visitors how they can maximize the benefits of Kino Flo’s breakthrough Mimik technology. These will include MIMIK Micro Training, IBL (Image Based Lighting) and Multi-cam through subframe.
Kino Flo will also be exciting imaginations at the booth with the coming soon Celeb IKON 6 and the special sneak peek Diva LUX family of bright energy efficient soft light products. Both families utilize two sources of the highest spectral quality white light, and a new five-emitter R-G-B-WW-CW LED configuration.
