Streamline Your Power with Accu-Cable’s New Power Bone Distribution Boxes

The new Power Bone series from ADJ’s Accu-Cable brand is designed to provide reliable and secure power distribution for event productions and permanent installations. Three models are available, each with a different type of output connection, which all feature the same unique bone-shaped design, four outputs, additional input and thru connections, two bonus USB outputs and an Omega bracket for mounting.

With tough powder-coated metal construction, the Power Bone Series is designed for use by entertainment professionals. Its distinctive shape provides protection to the sockets and the intuitive layout – with input on one end, thru on the other, and two outputs on each side – allows for neat and tidy cable runs. The input and thru connections allow two or more Power Bone units to be daisy-chained together, allowing up to 15A of load to be connected across all the outputs in a chain. Green Power Indicator LEDs are located on both sides and the end of the unit to provide a useful visual indication of when power is being received. On the rear of each unit is a pair of connection ports for the supplied Omega Bracket, which can be used to attach a truss mounting clamp. Without the Omega Bracket attached, the unit will sit neatly on the floor of a stage or on a tabletop, making it ideal for supplying power to FOH or a floor package.

The Power Bone T1ED features four standard Edison output sockets (in Europe, this will be replaced by the Power Bone T1CE, featuring four standard CEE 7/3 European sockets), the Power Bone T1PC features four Seetronic locking power output sockets and the Power Bone T1T1 features four Seetronic IP65 locking power connectors (please note: all units themselves are IP20-rated and therefore suitable for indoor use only). All models feature a pair of 2.4V DC USB output sockets that can each be used to charge or power low voltage devices with a maximum draw of 2.1A per socket / 3.4A in total. They are all also cETLus, FCC and CE approved and have a slimline design and low weight of less than 4lbs. (2kg).

“A great addition to the Accu-Cable range, the new Power Bone distribution boxes are rugged, compact and versatile,” comments ADJ USA’s Director of Sales, Alfred Gonzales. “They are perfect for managing power distribution to lighting, audio, video, effects and other entertainment technology equipment for one off events, touring productions or permanent integration projects.”

All three Power Bone models are available now from ADJ USA and are due to begin shipping from ADJ Europe next month.
