UK electronic music group, The Chemical Brothers, embraced virtual production technology in the music video for their single, “Live Again.” Shot at ARRI’s Virtual Production Stage in London, Lux Machina worked alongside partners ARRI and Creative Technology, leading the camera tracking team and operating the servers used in the production. Helmed by directing duo Dom&Nic, the video follows a dancer emerging from a trailer into several different environments, filmed as one continuous shot. Harnessing the power of Unreal Engine’s Virtual Production toolset, Arri, CT, and LuxMC provided the production with virtual control of the environments, ensuring a smooth transition between each setting with the use of a single camera shot.
