InCord Custom Theatrical Safety Netting: Orchestra Pit Nets
InCord Orchestra Pit Nets (OPNs) are designed to provide necessary protection for orchestra pits of different sizes. When properly installed, OPN acts as a passive fall arrest system, effectively preventing injuries in case of a fall from the stage or audience area into the orchestra pit. Based on the architecture, the net is securely fastened to carefully placed anchor points. The OPN system includes a Rescue Line, a recovery tool used to retrieve individuals who have fallen into the net. OPNs are created using InCord High Tenacity Polypropylene Knotless Netting and bordered with a high-strength polyolefin rope. With low-stretch properties, the netting is built to minimize net sag and deflection, enabling safe deceleration of loads over short distances.
