Altman Lighting has hired Joe Cervone as the new Manager of Sales Support Services. With nearly 40 years in the industry, Cervone will call upon all of his past experience in numerous roles with multiple companies to support all of the sales services at Altman, including marketing, sales management, quotes, and regional management. He will coordinate with other department heads on everything that impacts sales, from engineering to product development. Cervone will also work with the regional sales managers on their sales efforts, advising on availability of materials and products in the factory.
Cervone makes his home in the Denver, CO area and in addition to his role with Altman, owns the Picadilly Music Group, which is a multi-company production and recording entity that provides voice, music and scoring talent to the film, television, radio and spoken word industries from Picadilly Studios in Centennial, Colorado.
The first lighting fixture Cervone sold was an Altman 3.5Q ellipsoidal spotlight in 1986. Since then, he has worked on projects large and small, in stage lighting, television lighting, event lighting, and audio visual presentation. Cervone offers that his 40+ years of experience “will bring to this particular position at this specific time, the ability to have a clear understanding of all of Altman’s current capabilities and the new opportunities that we’re bringing to the market. And, I believe that will help to shape the future of Altman as we enter this new phase of our incarnation.”
Bill Groener, COO of Altman, is looking forward to having Cervone on the team: “As we continue to build the Altman Lighting team here in Denver, we are excited to welcome Joe. His skills and experience will make a huge contribution to our efforts. His dedication to customer service and support is very impressive and very welcome.”
