The Joy of Tinkering…if Time Permits

I want to make sure that the lighting is as good as it can affordably look. I want to make sure that every music change gets the attention that it deserves. I want to explore different looks and see what fits best… I love when I have the time to put individual timing on sweeps and transitions. They make all the difference. Instead of the back light coming on in one chunk, it’s so much sexier when one light fades in, followed by five other backlights. Like a flower petal blossoming, I love the look of a gentle sweep that finds its target. A huge sweep out to the audience is far more impactful when it sweeps out from stage left to stage right and settles into symmetry.
